I need mine doing, but will have to be a body shop, as I can only just tell what is a spanner and which end of the screwdriver to use    just

Body shop may well have the air tool or sykes pickavant did a hand flanging tool ...Then you could put new arch against old arch and scribe a line on old arch then cut off bad metal nearly up to the line and then you can use the flange tool and it makes a step in the old metal and then you place new panel on to the step and the panels become level and then they are welded to each other and thus using far less filler when concealing the join.

Going way over my head. I assumed old arch cut out and new arch (in pic) welded in. obviously im not a body panel expert (or expert on anything as it happens  ) so I don't know what youre talkin' about

I suspect, looking at it, yours has had a previous repair, and I wouldn't be hedging my bets on the condition of the inner

Also, around the arch, the inner and outer are bonded rather than welded

Tis my fault cos going to be honest I didn't know there was an inner part lol

Previous repair... yep, but only filler job.

So what youre saying is the pic I posted is the superficial arch but actually the rust could be in inches deep?
