Chrisgixer.         dif and ATF change.
Entwood ...        ATF change & Tech2 check of gearbox software
Lazydocker...      Oil and filter change, fuel filter, clean ICV, repair wiring to Outside Temp Sensor and (most importantly!) sort sticking handbrake.
TheBoy...           CamCover gaskets (MV6)
Sethsmate ...     Tech2 chat
Jack86...           ATF change and oil and filter, glove box handle and fitting my HID's.
Twiglet...           ATF and Diff oil change, move pre-cat lamdas, resolve mis-fire issue (coil-packs/cam cover gaskets), Tech2 chat.
Taxi Al...             Cambelt, waterpump, breathers, cruise activation. general service bits if time
aaronjb...           Camcover gasket on pass. side & tech2 w/ g/box check/upgrade pretty please
Kieran ....           Cam cover gaskets 2.6, Thermostat housing seal also
Shakeng....         Front/rear bush check(may as well do the rears?)
Kevin Wood...      Dif seal, Relocate Lambda sensors / try "anti-fouler" solution.

Gives
ATF change x4
dif related x3
Lambda related x2.

Cam cover seals x3
Cam belt/water pump x1(only 1?)
Stat housing x1
Handbrake x1
and a bunch of easy service stuff
Tech2 for most I guess? Guess there will be two present?

So, we have one lift and two pits as I understand it? I reckon they should cover the dif ATF and lambda jobs in a day. ATF should be doable in an hour with proper access and pumpy thing.( two gaskets, ATF and clean the filter). The rest there should be time for in other bays at ground level....?  ESP with a Daz bombing round the place.  :y

No suspension stuff so far.  :)

Where's best place to get ATF sumps gaskets?

I've only just seen this post, and stealer is unable to get rear bushes until Tuesday, so scratch that off the list. Sorree!  :( :( :(

If anyone coming to the meet has any mfl climate bulbs I would be grateful. :y
They won't be genuine Vx but I might have to pop and get some today because I've got a couple out as well... I've got to remove my stereo for the Tech2 to communicate so may as well change them at the same time ::)

Thanks LD, I may need an MID lamp as well if you have one. Mine's an MFL. :y

What I could really do with is someone helping me get a Halfords TC card! There must be a way!!

If you're on this list, there is! http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_14552_productId_565661_langId_-1_categoryId_173019

On reflection, I think I'll leave the box change to be done at home to allow for the inevitable hiccups, and where I can afford to have it AOG if necessary. Thanks for the offers anyway. I'm hoping that there may be a sucker helpful chap, local to me, at the meet, willing to give me a hand at home sometime. ::) ::) ::)

I didn't mean to put you off. Bring it along and we'll sort it out.  :y

In this case it just brought back memories of an amusing incident where we were doing it all wrong, in entirely the wrong weather. ::)

Kevin

Plus, you really need it off the ground to make it easier ;)

Are you staying overnight? If you are there'll be plenty of time to get it done ;) :y

That is the problem, as I'm not, I would hate to put helpers in the position of using up beer & curry time trying to get me away. I do really think it makes more sense to do it here at my leisure, as it is not urgent, and as some of the jobs clearly will be. Thanks anyway guys, and I really look forward to meeting you all.  :y :y :y

Thanks Kevin, if I can find someone to help me lift it into the Estate, I'll bring it along and hope. :y :y :y

I've just realised you're talking about a tractor.  :o

<shudders, recalling trying to get TheBoy's engine and box together>   ::)

I think there are plenty of jobs to be done already, and although I'm only really coming along to take the pi$$, is there anyone coming who fancies helping me exchange my AR25 for my spare AR35? ::) ::) ::)

It will be easier with the lift / pits we will have available, plus a few blokes around to help with lifting.

I haven't really got a handle on how much work is planned against how many available to do it. It's certainly do-able.

I'd welcome someone looking at my doughnuts to advise. ChrisG perhaps? Also check whether my wishbone bushes are dodgy as advised on my last MOT, even though I renewed them last year.

Oh and is anyone coming from Somerset way?  I need a favour  :y

Whereabouts in Somerset and what favour ....  if I end up going to pick up Albs door for him ... I might be near where you need ???

Taunton, I need something bringing from there which may or may not be an 80L lpg tank ::)

Doubt I can do that then !!!  with albs door on the back seat and my tools/atf in the 1/2 boot it could get a little cramped....  :)

Unless I stick the roof bars on and .........   nah .. maybe not ...   :)

I can get the door in my Estate Nige, plus any other bits, as it sounds as though I needn't bring any tools. HTH :y

I can bring a small compressor if required. Useful for wheel removal if nothing else :y

Is this open to TD drivers?

As long as you don't want a cambelt change :-X :-X :D :D
Open to all as far as I'm aware :y

Which would have been my sole intention of attending! 8-) ::) :y

Is it too late to apply?
8-) 8-)
I thought the 2.5 had a cam-chain, not a belt?

Gotcha 8-) 8-) 8-) ::) ;D ;D ;D
