Yup, I dislike the whole premise, and the fact it's an(other) imported American holiday we all have to suffer through for the good of the confectionery and plastic tat industry.

Normally I remedy this problem by being out on the night itself, but it seems any evening give or take about a week is fair game round here.  ::)

Yep, here we go again.

We teach our children not to accept sweets from strangers, but at Halloween they are allowed out en mass to do just that!  Crazy! ::)

Or rather we teach them it's ok to ask for things from strangers for free and then do something nasty to them if they don't comply.
