Little mini one for the cats to chase, I thought.  ::)

Absolute nightmare to controle, won't hover, won't trim, slightest touch on the controls and its off out the bloody window.... and it's not the cats that are chasing the damn thing round the living room either. ;D

Neighbour had one, controlled via iPhone or something, went up, quick spin around garden, then went walkabout, never to be seen again.  :-\

It will teach me for going into bloody Reading. Stupid bloody town. I had to buy something to cheer me up. ....only this wasn't it.

Mind you it was inly £30.  I've now upset the calibration so it imediately flips on its head. ;D and the instructions are clearly a poor Chinese translation. :-\

I fancy one of the parrot ones. (Somebody talk some sense into me. Quick. ) they are supposed to return to the take off point on auto if they loose signal or run low in power.

Although not this thing obviously. (Chuckle)

The better (more expensive) ones are a hoot.  You can fly them like a pro straight from the box.... Controlled from the iPhone or Android equivalent) with a full colour video display of what the Drone is above.

Excellent fun.

I just wish I could afford one!

I have a little four rotor chopper called a Hubsan (I think),flys brilliantly and is a hoot when expert mode selected,I also have a couple of much bigger heli's but can't fly them indoors as they could trash a house :-\

Although not quite the same thing (guessing yours is one of those with 4 or more rotors for lift), a colleague got interested in RC helicopters.  It took him weeks before he could use it untethered and without the training bars on.

So I'm guessing you need perseverance...  ...although I think the cheapies may be flawed, making them hard to control.
