I kept mine clean from 79 (when it was very dirty)until April this year.I think I felt a bit invincible tbh,but then got a reality check which scared the crap out of me. ::)
Still struggling  with staying at "licence keeping speeds"on the bike though tbh  ::)
Dont find it a problem in the car though.

i was on the m1 early hours of bank holiday monday had the cruise set to about mid eighties as i approached a junction a 5 sries bmw police car joined the motorway so i lowered the cruise to 75 until i was  approx half a mile in front then went back to 80/82 about a mile further down a 53 reg vectra went past doing well over a ton and 3 mins later so did the bmw ...5 miles further down the road they're both pulled over  and the vectra driver is getting a bollocking ::)...glad it wasn't me as my license is clean again
