Should be a straight swap as far as I remember. Only difference is one or two internal components are stronger than the AR25.

Women are like an AR35. lovely things, but nobody really understands how they work.

Is this being fitted to a 2.6? If so it's worth getting hold of the ECU off the 3.2 as well - despite the ECU's supposedly being identical, fitting one that was from a 3.2 was the only thing that cured that horrid 2.6 'hang onto a low gear' syndrome that my old 2.6 (and most other 2.6 auto's I've driven) suffered with, can only assume it has a slightly different map?!?!

One of the Bay of Flea ( https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VAUXHALL-OMEGA-3-0-V6-X30XE-AUTOMATIC-GEARBOX-TORQUE-CONVERTER-GM-AR35-DN/143229589193?hash=item21592616c9:g:zbIAAOSwUgxcwxao) for 150 of your notes  ;)

That one is £180, delivered.  So best mines a wee bit cheaper then. :)

If you are just changing the hydromechanicals of the gearbox and nothing else, then nothing to do ECU wise.

If doing the engine, the TCM ideally needs to be programmed for that engine to get right change points.
