The fat bint on the trader says it's gonna be in direct competition to Peugeot's e308. Gotta be the same car, surely?

The prices builders charge I would have thought you'd buy a new Aston or Ferrari every year. :)

Either the Corsa has gotten proper fat, or the stupid bint is too lazy to research properly...  ::)

no different to the old one being a direct competitor with the Fiat 500 family with which it shared a lot of design/components. And the Ford Ka, but who bought those ;D

VAG does OK with 'separate' brands that are the same car, why shouldn't Peugeot/Opel?

I trust Vauxhall to build a better car than the PSA group. When they bought Vauxhall out, it put Vauxhall firmly into the 'appliance' car category. (Like a washer, when it breaks, you buy a new one, you don't bother to fix it.) In my opinion future Vauxhalls will drop in quality.

Small Vauxhalls have been a throwaway commodity for some time now. The adam and the viva to mention the most obvious two.

GM era(since 1925 remember) Vauxhalls have always been throwaway commodities. As are were all their mass-market competitors like Ford, Austin, Renault etc.

Don't like any of the small cars on offer from Vauxhall, drive a friend's Toyota Yaris last week & that would be top of my list for a small runabout.

Yaris is a bit grim, though for some strange reason I quite like driving the Aygo - though that's too small to be practical.
