Technically, you are correct. But the 'other' 'other' forum is known about.  Bit disappointed that the owners decided to choose a name so very close to the name of this forum  :(

The name isn't close to this one. Just to clarify TB which other forum are you referring too?

Well I never :o :o
Now as I remember it....... :P :P at the Portsmouth "the cruise" meet ( http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1240692703/0 ) Me, Rob, Andy, Mike and Paul had a chat about arranging the following meet, and all agreed that a venue nearer Hertfordshire would be a good idea :y........ I suggested Ashridge in Hertfordshire and was positively encouraged to arrange it :-? :-?.
So I did :)......( http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1243780761/0 ) Then :-[ :-[...... a severe amount of handbag waving broke out amongst some of the Reading group because one person did not fancy camping in the New Forest, at a meet before Ashridge ( We are all allowed our choices in what we do or don't fancy doing )

Despite this niggle I carried on arranging "Reading meet No 11" as it had already been posted and the confirmed list was growing :) :)........ And it was a great success as everyone can see.......  :y :y http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1244576063/0  :) ;) :) ;) it would have been even better if the reading core could have surrended their hand bags and come along :P

After this I suggested a name change of the meets (http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1247901057 ) and this also went down fairly well :)

However the first meet was a little dissapointing  :-[ (http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1249573520 ) but as it was the 1st for this group I am not too down hearted and will still try for more with different members arranging each one :) ;) :) ;)

So perhaps a little time rembering past times and some research would help you before blurting things out ::) ::) would be a good idea in future :-/ :-/ :y :y :y

As for poor meets we only have to look here ( http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1244489857 ) To see what happens when it is left to just one member ::) ::)

P.S ..........Don't se you arranging any meets Rob ::) ::)You always seem to like some one else to do it :-/ :-/ 8-) 8-) Wonder why...............................?

Well said Gav to be honest

It's funny though how certain members are coming back on here with their tails between their legs now the other forum has ended :D

As for myself i have little to do with this forum anymore as i have moved on to other things, however it's had a good effect on us and we have now become close family friends so i cant complain :y

Take Care Mate :y

RIGHT! This is aimed at no one particular individual, as it takes 2 to tango  >:(

This 'them and us' argument is not good for either forum - OOF or the Reading forum (which does still exist, with the same mod team, under a new URL)

I believe there is some 'history' between some members, but surely it is more productive to try and work through those issues than expend energy bickering?  Its possibly due to some bickering that a faction of OOF have tried to start another Omega forum in the first place.

Quite simply, this cannot go on, either specifically in this instance, or in any other circumstance. It simply will not be tolerated. End Of.

Locking  >:(

I hope the Reading meets can continue, certainly seems to be enough demand. As there is demand for the Ashridge/South East meets as well.  Its not a competition!
