PAS leak fixed! and thanks to DTM
« on: 21 July 2016, 19:39:21 »

So for far too long I've had a pas fluid leak. Mark said it was probably the hose from reservoir to top of pump. I've had the hose from Vauxhall for ages and got round to it today.

Well mark u were spot on so thanks for that. It was so brittle on the pump end it was twisting round even with the jubilee still tight!!! But obvious it's next to the fannymould so it's going to get hot even with the heat shield on.

Also ages ago I broke off the battery hold down bolt in the battery tray so the plan was to remove battery and remove battery tray and drill it out and retap the hole. I then found out the battery tray is not removable and is part of the oppsing wing! Lol so had to do it in situ. Still piece of piss and I now have the oem hold down back. And even painted it as it was a bit rough looking. All in all a nice couple of jobs ticked off!!! Feels good 👍
