Thinking I might replace the thrust washer with a Sonnax on the NOS Senny AR35 I am picking up tomorrow, I decided to practice the procedure on my old AR25, and now have a transmission pump in two halves. >:(  Re-assembly next week and start again. :-X

Replace the front pads and discs today, EVEN MANAGED TO GET THE NEW PAD WEAR SENSORS TO CLIP IN WITHOUT THE NEED TO PERSUADE THEM IN TO THE LOCATING HOLE, ;D  emptied the master cylinder of old fluid an bled the front system of air, so far so good, will bleed out all the old fluid from the rears next week, pedal feels much firmer now so all good.
Noticed a rattle from the centre box's on the exhaust and confirmed my susp that the baffles have rotted out but no leak, so an eternal system is on the shopping list ::)

Swapped the whole drivers side mirror for an unbroken one and only have to change the nearside front and rear windows afters some bastard decided about 3am this morning to remove them with some bricks. and then clean out the glass and hope they haven't seriously damaged the seats too badly.

A smidgen over 30mpg over the last tank, but plenty of fuel left in it, as display still claimed range was 4 miles, and it only took a shade over 56l.

I wasn't.  The only time I tried hard was an uphill overtake, which it failed.  Bloody PoS.

Oh, it was grumbling something about pads as well, when coming through MK. *sigh*.

I'll do the honourable thing, and hide it somewhere again.

Towed a car trailer with the Ranger at the weekend.. which went beautifully; stable, plenty of grunt, capable tow vehicle, especially considering what else was in the truck bed at the time  :-X

And it's new home..

With a new set of pads in hand decided to see why i have uneven pad wear...I thought i may have seized pistons(inboard)the inboard pad was in there solid and could not move towards the disc owing to all the crap that was in there owing to the last time it had new pads they were just put straight in with no clean up...thats what i thinks anyway...pistons move just fine.Cleaned it all up and used copperslip.  :y
