Probably unclipped by a puddle and now resting against the radiator... Have a brand new sensor here if required ;)

When my outside temp sensor in the bumper packed up it was showing up to 63 degrees on the dash. The problem was that it was actually minus five outside and the heater refused to give me heat as it thought it was so hot outside.   ::)  I had some very cold journeys until I changed it.
