Ouch! My shoulder
« on: 20 August 2012, 20:08:33 »

.... just had a steroid injection in my shoulder, & something other other injected to try to break up 'calcium deposits' in there too!  ???

As the anesthetic is wearing off it's starting to hurt  .................. alcohol intake is being increased to compensate!  ::) ::) ::) ;D ;D ;D

Sounds unpleasant enough Andy - I hope the pain resulting from the procedure is worth it in the end. :y :y

I can only imagine how painful it must be - the very thought of it gives me the willies.

In fact, the very thought of it has made me break out into a sweat. ;D

close, very close.

Also the Doc was holding the leg to be injected still. He didn't count on me kicking him in the head with the other one. ;D

Purely accidentally of course. ;D ....well there was no way I was moving the one with the wracking great needle in it. Nooohohohooo.

The needle going in was OK .... it was as he was injecting the anti-caclium deposit 'stuff' and he moved the needle around that I could've thumped him!  ;D ;D the needle was left dangling from my shooulder at one point as he changed syringes  ;D ;D
