thanks for the info will check that out seems to be a common thing thanks again

Well it was common to me :-)

First thing I would do would be to isolate the front seat heating. This can be done down by the electric seat adjustment. Be careful as the air bag connections are down there too...

I haven't got any pics of the connection and I've looked on the site but can't find any..

My Sat Nav Disc keeps ejecting and Display says "Please insert CD Label up" and it is like that it used to do it odd times but these cold mornings its doing it all the time i have heard that they can be troublesome. I am hoping its just cold related because if i hold the disc to the heater outlet it then seems to work as anyone had this problem and can they be repairedThanks

Mine does this until the car/radio has warmed up...

Suspect the laser is on its way out...

i have just realised i dont have electric seats!!DOH.

Thats not a problem, it makes it easier, the cable for the heated (you do have heated seats don't you?) rubs on the seat frame. All because when the seat was built they stuck a small piece of plastic as a cable protector on the wrong side of the seat frame...

thanks for the tip. i shall have a look !!!!

To see properly you need to take the seats out, the cables hidden behind one of the seat motors, not that obvious even when the seats are out..

Might be easier to put a lower amperage inline fuse in the loom at the seat base below the memory buttons where the connections are. At least that should blow before F15, saves the engine cutting out...

You might want to refer to this thread..

I had a lot of problems with fuse 15 blowing randomly caused endless grief. Eventually traced to heated seat wiring rubbing on seat frame, just bear it in mind.  The fuse blew for a reason...

Thanks very much again! But no more problems after I changed fuse 15, other than fuse 15 blew again this morning....

Have a look at these threads about my problem with fuse 15..

Does the engine stop when it blows ?

Mine was eventually traced to the drivers heated seat wiring rubbing on the seat frame. You can isolate that by disconnecting the heated seat feed down on the right hand side by the seat controls. But be careful the air bag and seat belt tensioners go through here as well.

The mute on my 2013 was always very temperamental, gave up on the CK-7W in the end and bought a separate bluetooth unit that clips onto the sunvisor.
