New car for wifey
« on: 04 March 2018, 15:34:15 »

Mo has developed what the doctor thinks is a Bakers cyst at the back of her left knee. She is waiting for a scan, whenever that happens, and has been given naproxen to help with the pain (Jaime will testify to how much use that is).
Anyhow, she could really do with an auto to take the strain off her left knee, so we should be picking this up on Tuesday evening:

Have you had a Vauxhall badge fitted to a Fiesta, so you can have his-and-hers cars? ;D

I think they are great value for money, Nick. A euro shitbox, of course, but £10,120 for an 18 month old car with 9500 miles on it is very good. They've given us £8500 for her captur, so £1600ish to pay.
It's a 1.6 cdti tech line.

Also, the beauty of trading a shitbox for a shitbox, we haven't even seen the astra yet and they haven't seen the captur. But they are what they are, and it should just be "Gis your car and some dosh and here's your car. Bye."  ;D

Nice car. Good colour. However, you could have saved £5120 by purchasing my eleven year old Signum. :)

You may need to explain that the pedal on the left is not required because the car is an auto. Just a pedal to make it go and a pedal to make it stop.

Be gentle. :)

I don't think an Astra would suit your personality, Lizzie.

I can imagine you in an old Bristol. You may like it so much you end up with a pair of Bristols. :)
