i am going to be removing my bose system on the weekend and wondered as regards the wiring where do i take it out from,whats needed for it to work in an omega without bose?im guessing its just from the drivers side kick plate back to the amp?if someone has done it could they let me know!its on a mini facelift 1998 with ccr700 stereo

its a single loom from the drivers kick panel back to the amp and subwoofers.

problem is that if you remove it you will have to loopback 8 wires to get the speakers in the doors connected to the head unit.

if you have haynes this provides sufficient info for what you need. you will also lose the connection to the cd changer - which may not bother you - if you want to keep the cd changer then get the cable from a cdx of the same age as this will give the cd control and also give the speaker loopback you need.
