Not much of an age, he was looking at doing new version of his TV show as well.
-
Just seen this and its a bit of a shock
-
I knew Him from my DJ years back in the 70's, we both did Nightclub DJ'ing in Tottenham and Ilford.
-
"Knew him" in the Biblical sense ? :-\ :D

"Knew him" in the Biblical sense ? :-\ :D
He wasnt Out then, although some of us did wonder.
-
He hasn't been to one of Barrymore's parties has he :D
-
Very sad.
He was a very nice, low key for a TV celeb, individual who frequently suffered from depression, a family trait. One of those personalities who never offended, with a gentle disposition and a lovely voice.
RIP Dale :'( :'( :'( :'(

Let us hope his early demise is unrelated to his fondness for boys bottom's. :)

.... individual who frequently suffered from depression, ....
If he'd ever watched his National lottery quiz/thing, no wonder he was depressed ..... the slowest, most contrived programme ever shown on telly
-
TBH the Guy wasnt really my cup of tea, but in all fairness to him He was a lot better as a DJ than He was a TV Presenter, in fact I would say as a general rule in the TV Entertainment Business he didn't do himself any favors by coming Out and changing to his Gay Personality unlike what seems to be the norm these days, maybe He was just a bit before he's time. :-\

I really don't have an opinion good or bad about him as a person, and 62 ain't old these days. But all the TV programmes I ever saw him on were totally crap moron fodder. But y'know, if somebody pays enough, then you get off your intellectual high horse and do it. I would (not that anyone's asking ;D)

My old man was 61....... :'(

Mine did not get that far...57 :(

I think an orange coffin would be appropriate. ;)
While not really being my cup of tea, I always found him fairly amusing and he came across as a genuinely nice fella. :y
From what I've seen though he had a sad back story and suffered from depression. Hopefully he's found peace. RIP. :(

So what did he die of? ???

So what did he die of? ???

So what did he die of? ???
Boredom

Boredom
No, that was his audience.
-
So what did he die of? ???
the usual, he stopped breathing.

I seem to recall he was bankrupt following the demise of his career.
The fact they have not said does imply he took his life, or accidentally popped too many pills. Either way, very sad for those he left behind.
Can't say he was ever my cup of tea, but an unoffensive entertainer who came across as warm and caring.

He had looked unwell for some time. ? HIV related. Not saying that, but not out of the question.
