Petrol can recommendation
« on: 21 September 2019, 14:44:14 »

Anyone recommend a 5l petrol can?

I'm cheesed off with the cheap shite, which invariable leaks, either with the cap on, or when using the spout. It seems none of the plastic ones have proper seals now, and as I'm sure you can imagine, I get nervous about escaping petrol fumes in the garage.

I know metal is the answer for better quality/seals, but I don't want a 10l can due to size.  TBH, 5l is more than enough to keep my lawnmower and generator watered for 2-3 years.

I have a couple of these, didn't leak when falling over, but by all accounts the spouts are naff.  :-\

Oh, I hadn't found metal 5l ones in previous searches.  Cheers.
