Yep, a little leakage between the two plenum halves won't be a catastrophe.

I tend to avoid ever taking it off, though. Once the breathers have been cleaned from initial neglect a little squirt of carb cleaner through them in-situ when the plenum is off for each cam belt change does the job.

I also need a seal if anybody has one as mine is in two halves.I've just contacted Baylis local Vauxhall dealers to see if they have one!!!
