Not tried it, as the repair kits here are more expensive than a known good compressor

If you find a way, feel free to do a guide :y

Yeah think it needs a puller for it, a special one. Gotta find out what the outer thread is on it and make one myself, drill a hole in the bolt and make threads on it, bolt it on and tighten the inner bolt and off it should comr, hopefully allowing me to clean it to get the clutch working again.

Buy the time you've bought, all the tools needed, found a supplier for all the deals, it's cheaper to buy a reconditiond one,  for about £150.

I made the only tool I need from the bits I had laying around in garage and got everything apart, posting pics later..

Whole point of this was to see how you take it apart with my spare compressor and to take parts for the one in my car so I don't have to refill the system AGAIN as I just did it today and that is how I found out the clutch doesn't work on my current compressor... What a bit of luck that I happened to put the broken compressor in the car and left the working one off...

EDIT:
Pic time!

Few pics of the tool:

Threads on the inside are the only part I had to make on this tool, it is some piece for plumbing or something I think.

With the clutch pulled off:

Everything I need off:

Yep, standard Harrison compressor from memory, the only issue is the threads being imperial (if the grey cells are working ok!)

Yeah I figured it was some imperial crap so I took the part from a pump of some sorts I have laying around from an old firetruck and lucky me it had the correct thread on it and just the right size hole on the side so I could tap a M10 thread in it.

What could be the cause if I'm not getting any power on the plug to the compressor? I know the clutch is broken as I tried with direct power to it with no luck but I'm not getting any power on the plug either.

No real idea of the actual wiring ... but for the clutch to pull in and run the compressor requires the system to be "on" (auto not ECO on mine) AND sufficient gas pressure in the system to tell the controller there is refrigerant available....  so there has to be a pressure feed from somewhere to the controller ...

Yes there needs to be gas pressure and also not an over pressure.

When I put it on Auto everything starts as they should, car revs up  a little and both fans start in the front. Only thing that is not getting power is the compressor. The system is properly filled.

If the fans start, then it really is limited to the wiring between the Relay (K60) and the AC solenoid itself. K60 is clearly pulling-in as that is what starts the fans.

Wasn't sure of the relays which one is which even looking at the diagram as none of the layouts really match mine but I know now what to test now. Thanks.

Off to see how much a pita it is to swap the clutch with the compressor in the car.
