If you want to know how good your coolant is, take a little out and put it in the freezer overnight. If it's frozen, you know it's a bit weak.
The antifreeze capability should be fine, as long as the mixture is right.

The anti corrosion properties wear off though, and this is arguably more important, and harder to measure.

Indeed. It's the corrosion inhibitors that you need to be working, especially on an Omega.

Just buy any "long life" concentrate, use 5L when filling the Omega and change it whenever the HBV fails = every couple of years. :y

It costs a fraction of what a tank of petrol costs, after all. ;)
