no 4x4 can leave ruts 2 foot deep,  ::)

its probably them tractors who I suppose have no rights to be there either? ;D
Perhaps but to suggest that a horse is more environmentally damaging than a 4x4 is utterly risible ;D

You've clearly never stood behind one Al!  :o  ;D

As above.  I was rummaging about in the boot for something, put my keys down, then one of the neighbours came out, started yapping to me and I absentmindedly closed the boot while I was talking to him.  I only realised what I'd done when I got back in!  ::)  Of course the car itself is locked and probably dead locked too.  :'( :'( :'(

The neighbour and I spent a couple of hours trying to get in with various implements with no joy, and then I called out the breakdown service and he had ago with more professional looking implements with no joy either!  ::)  My spare key is in Dorset and I'm in Wales! Bollix!!!  >:(

Before he buggered off and left me to it, the breakdown guy suggested 3 options.

1) Get spare key posted from Dorset.

2) Get a locksmith.

3) Smash rear quarter light, but as we think it's deadlocked he wasn't sure that I could pull up the button, so erred caution on that.

The other thing is that the keys are in the boot and I've a bloody big gas tank in the way if I manage to get into the car, so there's no guarantee that I can get to the keys.  :-\  We managed to press the boot button with a long steel rod with no joy and I'm not sure that it will open on the button if I break in either?  :-\

Although it's a complete PITA I'll probably get the keys posted, as I'll have them on Weds.  I'll have to do a lot of walking tomorrow.  ::)

This is a very pissed off pedestrian Sir Tigger, reporting from the Rhondda Valleys.  ::)

I don't know anything about Omega diesels, but I had a Merc 2.5 TD that had air getting in the fuel system and on those it's the plastic low pressure pipes that feed the injector pump that go hard and brittle.  :)  A set of those sorted my problem and cost about £60 from the Merc dealer.  :y

Talking of old boilers, I've been sorting out a house that's been empty for a few months for new tenants and decided to test the heating today.  :)

Hmmm, the pressure's a bit low, so topped it up and suddenly the dump valve's going and I've got water pishing all over the kitchen worktop. :o >:(

Took the cover off to inspect further and discovered that the expansion vessel is goosed.  ::)  So not too bad and lucky I discovered it rather than the new tenants!  :y

No nor me either, although I had a nice little jaunt up and down the M4 on Saturday and managed to avoid a nasty pile up near Cardiff.  ::)

Is there a copy of that with pictures?

Is the joined up writing a bit much for you Al?  :-X  :D  ;D
;D ;D ;D

It reads like a labour manifesto surreal comedy, so it might as well be in pictures...

You're right in that it's not a labour manifesto as it's got some policies in it....  ::)  ;D

If it's hard to start from cold, you've probably got air getting in your fuel system somewhere.  :-\

If you park on a hill, leave it parked facing downhill and you might find that helps.  ;)

OK I've seen it now, although it took twice as long with the circle of death going round, and round and round and round..... Aaaaaah!  :D

I went to St Petersburg in 1995 and wandered around on a sunny day thinking "Cor there's alot of sexy girls in this city!"  :o  8)  I think the TG cameramen felt the same!  ;D
