Launch X431
« on: 27 October 2007, 15:10:41 »

Anyone familiar with Launch X431 Diagnosis machine?

Dealer uses tech II, but all other local garages uses this Launch X431.

The thing is that when i took my car to dealer for starting problem they said that as per Tech II ECU had no faults. When i took it to local garage, with his launch X431, he pulled out two faults:
1. knock sensor
2. Fuel Pump Relay.

2 problems can happen - generic readers can give false results, and Vx dealers often don't know how to use Tech2...
