timing belt marks

are there any differences between the 2.2 and 2 ltr timing belt replacement/ setting up procedures ( Omega obviously)

Pretty much the same setup with the 2.0 16v and the 2.2 16v. Obviously the 2.0 8v is another beast entirely :y

No, On the 2.2 the cams are marked inlet and exhaust, align them to the top marks on the rear casing. Crank mark goes at 6 o'clock to the notch in the casing. :y

Doesn't the notch in the crankshaft pulley align with the small pointer ?. I have a funny feeling the timing is set at TDC on the 2.2, I stuck a screwdriver through spark plug one hole and it seems to line up with the pointer/notch in crankshaft. However I may be wrong.........

I am pretty sure myself Ken that the crank has a line which needs to be lined up with a notch at 6 o clock  :y
