Started the Battlebus, as it was in the way (on the driveway!!).  It took some effort, almost catching on one, then 2, then the 3rd caught and rattled its way into life, and the 4th caught.

The smog is incredible, shame none of the neighbours had the washing out.
done an oil and filter change yet ? or are you still saving up cash for the oil and filter  ;D :D

One of these days, someone will steal it and you won't know
so you will miss out on a big fat insurance payout (about £50 )

Washed 3.2 for first time this year, came up reasonable. It’s lacquer is pealing off bonnet, heavy car park ding (not me!) and alloys bit poor. But looks ok from distance.  ;D

I was once driving through Bicester, and said to Mrs TB, "that looks a bit like the battlebus", then realised it was the battlebus!

She then remembered to inform me she had lent it to someone ;D

The fuel filler flap on the V70 dosn't lock, so stripped out the mechanism this arvo to find that the little electric motor only works one way.  :-\

Over the weekend, I set the headlights back to UK beam pattern, following its jaunt around Normandy.

Was much quicker than when I set them to neutral beam a few weeks ago, as I've replaced some of the wheel nuts, and the socket not fits.  Poxy useless Ford JLR junk.

The wheel nuts seem alright on my RRS.. both EGR valves took a dump, though ;D

Mines a 2010 model (though first reg in 2011), so guess they were 10yrs old.

Bloody things.

When I was looking at TDV8 L322's, Josh did warn me the EGRs are problematic (which worries me, as presumably my TDV6 Jag uses the same ones), and scared me further saying left unchecked can cause the turbos to suffer.  Still want one though, but fortunately he did lend me a 4.2SC one for a bit, which was enough for me to realise its far too bloody big to fit on my drive ;D

;D Even the RRS (which is significantly shorter than the RR!) is a tight squeeze here with the 650 and Mini all on the drive too.. one of these days I should really invite (some) of you over for a curry and to the house!

The cost of two EGR valves including fitting is just shy of £1000 ... thankfully it's under warranty right now!
