I need the car gone by the 15th October so im prepared to take an offer on the car and upon sale go to the local post office with the buyer to apply for the new log book and tax the vehicle. I will knock £25 off the price of the car for this. I'm happy to call eclampsia also to prove the car is in my name. I will also knock a further £75 off so that's £700 I will accept.
I'll give it another 5-7 days then it will go on eBay.

I was on the fence when I bought it. I was really unsure about the wheels but they did grow on me. I still have the receipt for them in July 2013 for £650 so they had some value left if anyone wanted to change them.

It Is a Lovely car. I would says it on par with my 1st omega ( my 2.5 GLS in graphite grey ) which was a beauty. Me in typical fashion has spent plenty of money on it to ensure it has many years of service left. Whoever buy it will be very happy indeed. over the last 18 months the receipts total around £1500 so it really is ready to be enjoyed long term.

Looks like I'll be selling my car due to a new vehicle. So this is a heads up if someone is after a loved big cruiser.
Vauxhall Omega 2003 2.6 Elite Auto.
I have thousands of pounds worth of receipts with the car.

The car is in beautiful condition inside and out, is as smooth as an Omega can be.

only point to mention is drivers door lock is lazy.

General Car Chat / An actual new car

After 6 years of owning 3 omegas I've just ordered a new car.
Been spending a fair bit on the omega lately and its going to be a sad day when she goes as its been the best omega I have owned.
Not everyone's cup of tea but I will soon have a 65 plate Hyundai i30 1.6 CRDI 5dr.
After looking at deals on the focus, astra and the Peugeot 308 the Hyundai came out on top.
Its also a very nice car to drive, excellent economy, well built and zero tax. It feels big for a hatchback but I know I will miss the long distance comfort and presence of the mighty omega.
Its due in a few weeks so I will be preparing the mig for sale in the attempt of achieving a reasonable price.
Quite looking forward to it as have never had a brand new car before.
