I had a corsair ....  2.0 HC v4 ,  with a 3.0 essex v6 transplanted in to it.


oppsing awful to be honest, but i was 17 ,  and even more stupid than i am today

The KA wont be a great loss, the Mk1 was a pig awful car where bits fell off in your hand and the engines rattled straight off the end of the production line.

Im sure there was an uglier car than the Scorpio made at some time,but I honestly cant think what it might have been. ::) ;D

I believe Ford thought that the Mundane was able enough to fill the space that the out going Scorpio left


........ that was according to a lad from across the road that worked for a Ford dealership at the time the Scorpio was killed off  :-\

But the look grows on you  :) Pity they suffered the same rot problems as the old scorpio  :( wheel arches

Turbo technics did a twin turbo kit for the 2.9 and it gave it 340 horses.  8) :o :)

Agreed, the only reason they canned the Fugly Frog was that they couldn't sell any.

And there is only one reason that they didn't sell... our beloved Omega, which is the car Ford should have replaced the Mk3 Granada with ::)

A touch ironic really, as in the end the Omega replaced it anyway :-\

Not sure about the 2.9, but certainly, the 2.3 and 2.8 Cologne lumps could also be stroked to 3.7 litres without drama 8)
