They are so effortless too on the motor way. I was following one years ago in my Senator at 'excessive speeds' Where mine was changing down a gear to keep up, his just squated down & powered away with ease.  :y

i try not to buy from the supermarkets after the fuel snags they had last year... i have used asda as its the closestgarage to me but its the only supermarket one i will use.

At half 11 at night in Gosport/Fareham I wish I'd had a choice.  :( The only place that was open was Fareham near the Bird in Hand but they were lacking in fuel of all types!  :-?  :y  :y

104.9 Unleaded, 112.9 Diesel, 117.9 Super Diesel, these are local to me. I was talking to a HGV driver from Holland last week, he explained that the two tanks on his truck held 700 litres each ie 1400 litres, diesel in Holland is one Euro per litre - £0.75 x 1400 = £1,050 to fill up, the same in the UK £1,581 thats £531 cheaper. His boss said that if he has to buy fuel in the UK he pays the difference !
We are just mugs to stand for these high prices.

richard a

 :o  :o £1600!!!!!  :o  :o
And it brings a tear to my eyes when it costs me nearly £70 to fill it right up

It really is about about time we had another fuel strike. I can remember when putting £5 in my Dad's Cortina would be a nice round 4 GALLONS  ..... best part of 20 litres  >:(  >:(  >:(

sorry for being a sanctamonious ex-smoker but it's been so damn hard i wish i'd never been able to start :'(

I, too, am an ex-smoker. But you're more than welcome to come & smoke in my house or stand next to/near me & smoke. It just doesn't bother.
You can't smoke in my car though :y  :y

that's what gets me - how any government can make up rules saying smokers can't have certain ops etc but still let people start >:( coz they need the taxes to prop up health sevice. .....

The latest Nanny State idea is for ciggies to be removed from display & sold 'under the counter' nudge nudge wink wink  >:(

Do you still get 'blue liners' ?  :)

They required a truely dedicated smoker to smoke them!! ;) Especially the non tipped.
