Charged the battery and moved the drivers seat forward so that SWMBO could reach the pedals and go and buy essential supplies*

Charged all 3 cars again.
Given the amount of time they spend plugged in, you may as well go all electric...  ::)

Taxed it using the details from the new keeper slip. Clearly Dvla haven't opened the envelope yet ::).

And then drove it to the shops. Need to reset an ABS light, but otherwise OK, and more comfortable than the 3 series 8) albeit slower :'(

Had A/C filled following the major "service", which included a new compressor, condensor, drier and microswitch (all sourced relatively cheaply on ebay), and I have properly cold air again and no reported leaks  :)
The compressor is quite noisy at idle when engaged the noise goes away with increased revs, but sounds like one of those single piston air compressors at idle, not quite sure why or if there's anything that can be done about it, anyone got any ideas?  We checked that it had oil it it before it was fitted.

Noticed a couple of light scratches on the n/s/r door of the Range Rover, found a tube of unopened Tcut scratch remover in the garage & its worked a treat paintwork now blemish free. 😀

Had a day off from it today, but brought the third Omega alloy to work tonight to start rubbing down and repainting.
Headlight level sensor arrived today and rear shocks due to be delivered in the next couple of days, so everything around the rear end should be all nicely tidied up and working properly within the next few days.

When you get to fitting the rear shocks, clean and freshen the wheel arch side of the turrets ;)

Reason being saloons are prone to paint/underseal wear from the top mount seal rubbing and trapping shite against the turret. Terry can explain what happens next...  :D

Your rear end not tidy and working properly ?

DG - will do. Ive already cleaned up everything else in that area and give it a coat of paint where needed, so will clean up around the turrets when I have access with shocks removed.

Rear shocks have just been delivered. Several days earlier than ebay listing suggested. opened the box to check contents and pleased to see all fixtures & fittings included. A bargain for just under £70 the pair delivered. Got to leave for work in half an hour, but got 4 days off from tomorrow morning so plenty of Mig fettling over the weekend.
