Well that didn't last long. Had a drink last night. Pretty disappointed with myself. :(

As I've always said, January is the most depressing month on the calendar. Why on earth do people insist on trying to get through it without alcohol? ::)

Absoluteley ! Especially as January contains my birthday, another year older  :(

In addition January has quite a few trade wine tasting events on, so "Dry" for me is impossible (along with every other month  :y )

I haven't touched a drop for twelve years, but I don't see any harm in drinking wine for pleasure. Don't listen to the dickheads on the telly, life is too short. A couple of days a week off the sauce is sufficient to let your vitals recover. Provided, of course, we're not talking three bottles a night.

Big Bro is in retail, so it'll be about 3-4 months before he's collaring me about xmas upgrades to his system :(
