Would you change the front pads before or after a brake bleed, or doesn't it matter?

General Discussion Area / Waxoyl Problem
« on: 07 September 2006, 15:29:54 »
Some of you may remember I Waxoyl'd my doors yesterday.

Well now I have a problem.

The drivers side was parked in the sun for about 4 hours today, the Waxoyl melted, dripped out, and has damaged this seal.

Does anyone know how to replace it please.

It looks worse in real life than it does in the picture, the Waxoyl has softened the rubber.

General Discussion Area / Job well done
« on: 06 September 2006, 14:04:35 »
With a Waxoyl spray kit and extension tube, I've Waxoyl'd the inside bottom of all the doors today.

I inserted the extension tube into the drain holes in the bottom of each door and injected the Waxoyl until it was running freely out of each hole.

It took over 2 hours to stop dripping out!.

Quite pleased with myself.

to congratulate Taxi Driver on becoming an Omega expert, like myself, and a few others who think they're experts.

I know I am a bit premature because you still have 6 more posts to go, but I know you will be up at the crack of dawn posting away when the so called other experts are sleeping, it will be a relief to be joined by another true Omega expert, such as myself with a proper 4 pot, instead of all these airy fairy V6's.

I think tunnie has a 4 pot, but he only thinks he's an Omega expert. He's always having to take cars to pieces, unlike ourselves who know better and take our cars to proper dealers so that we can have new ECU's etc. fitted.

In anticipation, well done, at long last I won't be carrying the burdon of responsibility of answering questions and having to supply the answers for I know that you will take your new title seriously, and leap into action with your new found staus.
