Time for the scrapyard then

For the sake of a well documented affordable guaranteed repair...

Are you mental?

About £100 to fix if memory serves. :y

No he bought car yesterday - but garage is shut today and car needed tomorrow 7am. Have left message on garage answer machine and son emailed them but someone must have known there was a problem - not necessarily guy who sold it I suppose. If you have to jump a car at all these days you have to think to check the battery unless it has been stood a while which I do not think the C280 was. We will give it a couple of hours in case they pick up message.

Very likely. :(

A new battery to show good will from the dealer I think.

For the third time since 2008 I agree with you, Albs. :y ;)

Downside of any creeper is you have to get the car 5 inches higher...

I'll Mention no names :-X :-X...... but I imagine that some on here have trouble getting their beer belly under the car. ;D ;D

23167
Put a new, and an old Mini next to each other, and the difference in size is obvious. :(

Surely the definition of the word 'mini' means small.

Are the Vistapro wiper blades up to snuff?

At just £1.50 for the 24 inch, and £1.26 for the 19 inch it may be worth the gamble. :y

£10 each at full price, apparently. ;)
Not used them. However, I find most of the junk they sell to be quite poor.

Perhaps,TB........but they can't be any worse than the RAC wipers which are currently on the car.

So.....Two new wiper blades and a new air filter for £9.12 including delivery. What's the worst that can happen? ;) ;) :y

TB runs back to bed to see if he can't fall out of the correct side next time he wakes up ;D
Sorry, I bit, as I often do when somebody talks complete, unadulterated 'dangle berries'.  I am trying to fix that particular deficiency  :-[

So you don't rate Evans Halshaw then ::)
There I offer no apologies. Useless, lying, retarded, breakless, wankstained retards. Thieves as well.  Though I feel sorry for the Service Manager's mum, who clearly slept with a retard.  100m sperm in that shag, and that was the quickest?

That bad, huh. ;D ;D ;)

The gearbox fitted to manual Omegas is just plain horrible. Thats why I have 2 autos :(

Snap! :y

Having owned one manual Omega, I don't lust after a second.

The gearbox from a 1950's bus would be superior.

Not everyone is lucky enough to be wealthy and live in Wakefield. :P :P :P

I wasn't really paying attention but glanced up to see a chap with his name on a caption underneath. Dick Fidly. I think if my name was Richard Fidly, I would insist on people using my christian name in full. It's a good job it was the last report because I think the news presenter was about to wet herself.

I used to know someone called Richard Puller........Think about it :)

« on: 12 October 2013, 12:38:33 »
So I got an omega sales brochure for 99p on flea bay during the week. Always buy one of these always cramed with useful info. Anyway I seen the 2.5td tractor in manual has a 0-60 of over 11 seconds. Nit suprised to be honest.

So tried mine there now. One attempt got 8.2 sec. Seems the lowrr raito lsd mapped brain etc have made a substantial difference.  Just makes me wonder what it will do with launch practice,  a long overdue service and this front mount ic fited and boost leak fixed.

Sounds optimistic.

Timings taken from the speedo and a hand held stop watch are far from accurate. :)
