I'll have to come to you then!

My estimate was 1300 plus another 500 to do the door shuts!

That was bodged, and it shows if you look closely, but not my car ;D not sure of the breakdown materials  vs labour  :-\
If I see the bloke, I shall ask :y

Personally I would pull all the panels off along with the door cards and trims, in the same way that you would if you were to paint a car properly :y

I wont recommend .. it fades sooner or later.. been there done that..

No, but it might be worth seeing if you can find someone to dip bits of the car..............

I think Taxi Al was referring the Galaxy he mentioned earlier in this thread, not this Omega.  :y

And certainly how I typed it too ::)

Cut in round the door catches for example, rather than remove all the bits/doors etc, wrap, then reassemble. :y They had the Galaxy for four days, and didn't undo a single panel :-\

Cost near enough a grand :o, he could have had it painted for the same price, but wanted it back on the road sharpish...

Simple, personal choice - end of. Lots of people wont understand why we like a car that went out of production a decade ago, however some people also like Golfs. Each to their own, it would be a dull world if everyone liked the same thing wouldn't it ......

I did the bonnet of my v40 due to a scratch across the bonnet.
Over one year and it was still nice and shine.
But I used some Carbonfibre shyne liquid I had from work every week after a wash.
Not sure where to buy this, but a bottle lasted a year .
