Yeah the plod ones had calibrated analogue dashes, one complaint of the digi dash was that it was a bit `optimistic ` but it never bothered me, I thought the large digital figures were ideal for our gatso infested roads  ;)

Nice one Murph!

Pretty sure all GSi Carltons (12v or 24v) came with digi-dash as standard and analogue as no-cost option throughout whole production life.  So a GSi with analogue was down to buyer choice and, arguably, taste.  Personally, I quite liked the digi-dash for the clear reading and extra gauges, plus you could flip between MPH and KPH.  Utterly useless in bright sunlight though!

I agree with you there Stephen, they are useless in sunlight, but I still liked mine  :y

Odd though how the conventional dash is callad an analogue dash?!?

Just something I thought needed highlighting  :D
