Right I got my eye on a Omega on ebay. Its a 96 P-reg 2ltr 16v. It seems fine apart from the person selling it says it stalled once pulling up to a junction and the tick over is slightly uneven at times.

Is thing a common problems with them or has anyone else had the same problem?

I don't want to buy it then find out its something major and it need the engine stripping down or replacing.

This is the car in question

no problem there, just clean the idle control valve and breathers. Should sort it out.

Link does not work though...

Worked for me on my 97p 2.0 gls. Running like a dream now. Just cleaned out all breathers, ICV and throttle body, then adjusted butterfly.
