investigated my hissing self levellers.first problem was getting the wheel nuts off they broke my vauxhall wheel wrench and bent my socket bar.

air pipe had chaffed on bodywork

fixed it with a combination of self amalgamating tape and cable ties.

New rear discs and pads, handbrake now 2 clicks on its on. Poly bushed the front bushes, genuine Vauxhall bushes in the rear wishbone bushes and lemforder ball joints so they should be good for a few years now and all for £95  :)

Parially dropped Jaguar rear suspension, and removed hub from half shaft to fit new abs reluctor ring (original had split), put it all back together and  :y :y all warning lights now off and abs and dsc systems now working again.  Fitting new ring (custom made) cheaper than buying and fitting complete new cv joint assembly ;)

On last section of body restoration of E24 635  :)
Floor removed which looks dramatic but only actually requires new sill flange , internal jacking support ,inner sill and new shaped floor . Complete new suspension ,brakes .bushes and steering are sitting in the wings awaiting fitting .
All this on both sides caused by the sunroof drain pipe ending inside the sill and not through the manufactured exit hole , shame on you BMW  >:(
Should have body finished late this week.

Rear bumper off, fixed the faulty parking sensor and refitted. Swopped the rear window switches over as the n/s wouldn't operate. After swopping over the "faulty" sensor it worked fine on the n/s???
U
Not complaining, so happy days. Just need to find out why I'm losing oil but not on the floor or burning it?  ???

Broke the M3, down to just the Micra that actually works properly..

Aux fan has packed up (or the controller) - naturally controller and fan come as one £400 unit from BMW and it's bumper off to replace it.

Someone lend me some matches..
