IT'S NOT FAIR......booked the miggie in to have the thrust washer done and went out to clear all the junk out and I can't get in!!!!

Remote won't work so I presumed the battery was flat but the key won't open the door either. The key turns but the button doesn't move.

Help!

Flat car battery :question don't worry, Migs are worryingly easy to get into with a piece of thin, bendable wire, pref thinner that metal coathanger. :y

Suspect that may be happening any second, was only trained on the oldstyle buttons which you could do with those packing straps

this might be a dumb question (I don't know non facelift migs), but have you tried the handle?  ;D

I seem to remember Lizzie Zooms' recent post when she busted the key turning it, only to discover that the door was unlocked - just the internal button hadn't popped up....

feel free to correct me if I'm pointing out the obvious!

Nooooooooooo not like that, wont work anyway :P
Need a long piece of wire and put a small u shape on the bottom, slide it down the outside of the door glass near the button, between the glass and the rubber strip. Slide in down and then move everyting towards the door lock, there is a bar you need to hook on, you can just about see it, hook, pull up and door will unlock.... :y :y :y :y

Woohoooooo....the old brute force wins again. Battery out and on charge, just means I get up at 5:30 instead of 5:45 so I can put it back in. Only for a miggie would I do this....

Shouldn't we hide Mike's post giving instructions about how easy it is to break into our Pride and Joy's ?. Although I suspect the scroates will know this by now  :'(

To be fair I used the 'turn the key HARD' version which does at least need the right key
