Comes with a 2 year approved warranty. I imagine there are plenty of 'exclusions' but hopefully it is worth slightly more than the paper it is written on should I need to make a claim.

Very nice, FatherT has XF but not with the bonkers engine. Very impressive car, interior is pure class, love the way the gear shifter rises up

Anything as vulgar as a V8 would have Lyons spinning in his grave but, in this instance, I agree. Splendid indeed.

It is very well made. It is also very civilised. The leather is soft and classy.

The engine has a certain 'Detroit' way about it but the rest of the car is very calming.

Wonderful sound system with 10 CD hard drive.

Quite quick, too.

Bastard to clean.

XF was on list of possible replacements, and I even managed to take an extended 6hr test drive in a 3l NA petrol one

Not sure I could live with the seats in the example I drove though. 

Also, a step down from the Omega in cabin and boot space, and so much had to be done via flicking through pages on the touchscreen rather than a simple button.  Even the most basic stuff like seat heaters.


Its not entirely crossed off the list yet, as its the closest I've been to finding a successor, but the slight disappointment has made me want to keep the old Omega going.
