Pictures with the Mighty Signum, which they only offered £850 for in part exchange. Fook that. :-\

Be careful with the paint. They're soft as cheese. Might wanna get it C1 Crystal Laquered to avoid swirlage.

Very nice, FatherT has XF but not with the bonkers engine. Very impressive car, interior is pure class, love the way the gear shifter rises up  8)

A bonus for the Opti driver when flirting with the sister in law  :D ;D

Nice motor ... not jealous at all  ::) :P

No temperature gauge. :-\  Why not?

How does the driver know when it's warm enough to give it some welly?

How can the driver tell if the car is running too cool (possible thermostat failure)?

Loads of cars don't have a temp gauge these days  ???

Modern cars that do have a temperature gauge don't tell you much anyway. Of course you'll know when it's up to normal running temp but, as long as it's within a specified range, the ecu will just keep the gauge sitting smack in the middle.

Yep. One of the things that used to knark me off about the XF.  The xj has one. Just cost cutting. Like having no hardkey buttons and over reliance on the touchscreen.

That and the fact it doesn't have a coin holder, a cassette player, a FAX PORT!!, a torch in the glovebox, and loads of other skookum as frig shiz that 90s cars have  ;D

Nice wheels mate, and the V8 is the way to go.  I've certainly enjoyed my V8 XJ, and no issues to date (altho like you I still have some Jag warranty left!).  Servicing costs at my local dealer very reasonable too.

Enjoy yours and ignore any "nit picking" comments - as someone said when I posted details of mine "its only jealousy".
Good luck with it :y

Forgive my innocence, but I am curious.
Cannot see a gear lever. I presume it's an autos, how do you select gears?
Why is a man from South Lincs buying cars in Basingstoke?
Is there the ghost of a Mondeo lurking there somewhere?
