Think they got that wrong. Part Number is 90411629 and the seals are 9129999. Give them these numbers and see what they come back with.

It may well have to come from Opel as PSA are filling the Luton with Peugeot & Citroen parts so old Vauxhall parts will get shipped back to Opel

Cheers

For some time now many serious parts have had to be brought in from Germany by my local VX dealer.  Three weeks ago though I made another purchase of a smaller item; the top coat and laquer for my car.  I was told the cans were the last in the country!! :o :o

So, yes, Omega parts are going to come in from Germany until I suppose they run out of them. :(

They won't when the blockade is imposed on the 30th March!  :D

Plenty in the states just the shipping costs and import duties that make them expensive :y

So after the 29th, it won't matter either way as there'll be duty to pay  ;D

The 29th of never, I think!

$50 +$22 shipping +$15 import duty estimated :y thanks

Depending on urgency - and appreciate it would be crazy for something this small as a one-time thing - it can work out very cost effective to get things shipped in by someone like Ron @ STS Imports; you have your item delivered to Miami (and often US folks are doing free postage internally), it gets put in the next container load out and delivered to the UK for a nominal sum (I'm paying £200 to have about ~300Kg of parts shipped in - including a gearbox, engine rotating assembly, and all ancilliaries for a rebuild).

You are probably a bit light on the duty btw; 3% duty plus 20% VAT plus a handling charge (usually £10-£20 depending on courier, included in the price from someone like Ron)

Definitely worth it if you want to bring in a lot of stuff, or bigger stuff (anything that'll fit in a 40' container! ;D).. Ron has been great to deal with (granted my stuff is still in Miami - next container leaves at the end of this month) and I'm told has been doing business for years, which has to be a good sign :)
