3.2 CDX ?
« on: 21 September 2013, 13:09:11 »

Listing says its a CDX Elite. ::)
Everything about it (including the badges) says its a CDX,but was there ever a 3.2 CDX ?  :-\ Ive never heard of such a thing.
If not, either someone has transplanted a 3.2 in there or the seller is under the misapprehension that their 2.6 is a 3.2 ?  ???  :D

Oooer!....it's got one of those 'normal' V6 oil leaks, certainly would need to factor in the remedial work and probably a cambelt etc if I were bidding on it ::)

Thats been messed with as headlight switch has manual level adjustment so no hids,so why headlight washers.

Think it has just got a 3.2 badge on tailgate but rest of car is CDX spec imho having spent the last few weeks repairing/adjusting almost every single nut/bolt/washer on my newly acquired 3.2 .

Heated rear seats, sunroof and CCRT suggest Elite, but no spoiler :-\

Also, CDX came with xenons as well...so new headlight switch perhaps

One for Jimbob me thinks :y

Edit due to thought ::) Euro specced range topper, possibly originally an Irish order, sold unregistered to a UK dealer, who on being a bit retarded, badged it a CDX based on the wheels alone. Some then corrected this and sent it to thge DVLA as an Elite

See my last ::) price is fair, given the unique nature of the car, the mileage and low ownership. Looks mint too :y

Just speculating, but seems to match the Opel Executive spec :-\ Channel Islands are another option...grill is only 8 screws, rear badge sticky back plastic :-\

It appears to be a CDX apart rom the seats (which are easily changed),but to my knowledge a 3.2 CDX was never available,or at least not in the U.K.  :-\

Didn't Ex Police Simon chap'y have a 3.2 CD or CDX some time back?, seem to remember it was an ex iPlod that was a Chauffeur Car for Police Chef or someone?

We know from the past that a lot of iPlods had Badge / Log Books differing from the norm.  :-\

Doesn't have 2013/2015 unit fitted, which afaik is unheard of on a UK spec 3.2 elite.

Maybe when the first owner brought it they had some extras put into a CDX to take it nearer to the Elite  :-\ can't quite think why because it would have been cheaper to have brought an Elite wouldn't it.  ::) :-\

I've come across 3 of these before, all green Estate's. All in the 2002/03 range.
I was informed, they were non UK origin vehicles that were actually first registered in the UK.
One of them had belonged to the MOD. I can't comment on this vehicle's ownership. I am 100% sure, this vehicle has not been butchered and it indeed has been like this from new.
