Do Vauxhall sell just the LP valve ???
Both valves readily available individually, so don't be told different :y

Vauxhalls are adamant that they do not sell the LP valve, Just that section of pipe, It's so tiresome arguing with them.  :-\

They said the same thing about the HP valve before I gave them the part number.

Hopefully someone knows the part number I can give to these numpties...

Is this any use  ;) http://oldsite.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1243870617

Omegadoha, Desert Member Asks for the LP part number but no one got back to him by looks of it  :-\

You can buy then in Helfrods... schraeder valve core, hell for a fiver the numpties would probably even fit it ::)

Oh no they wont  ;D ...Did ask them to fit the HP valve they said they wont, (managed it myself anyway  ;)) Can't remember their exact words but i'm sure they said something about replacing that section of pipe  ::)

Have already tried a new schraeder valve and it still has a slow leak, That's why i'm trying to get a R134a compatible type, Ideally a genuine GM one or a R134a compatible one that will do for the Omega  :-\

To top it off according to them it isn't leaking anyway under the leak test they do... Does last roughly 3-5 weeks before its barely cooling at all, But the A/C clutch still spins, Although there's no condensation on the pipes whatsoever, Last time it was done it apparently had something like 120g in the system and they put in 950g there abouts.

Condensor leaks like a sieve once it starts to fall apart, they tend to rot away from bottom up :-\

Compressors aren't known for being gas tight either :-\

Be due a new Condensor then more than likely  :-\

Drop the undertray and you'll soon see if it's falling apart :y

Assuming that the AC muppets who filled it put dye in, the leak, no matter how slow, should be obvious to them.

Pt/No 3041827 is the smaller valve & 13277003 should be the larger type as in Andy B picture

These are the only two numbers listed for the AC Valves

In my brief look at EPC yesterday, 3041827 looked to be the front one, which is what Andy B posted?

The muppets in question are a bunch from a Vauxhall main dealer garage, Doubt they did put any dye in tbh well they never said anything anyway.

Would be great-full if you could look into the Low Pressure valve part number AndyC  :)

I did however type the part number above in Google and found this which looks more like I'd have thought the proper one to look like LINK

Basically I'm after a part number for the L.P. A/C Valve to save you reading all of the below...

The answer is here:  http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/index.php?topic=125817.msg1605532#msg1605532
[/url]

 or here http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/index.php?topic=125817.msg1604750#msg1604750

I got the GM ones http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/R134A-AIRCON-GM-SCHRADER-VALVE-CORE-PACK-5-2673-/400198885451?pt=UK_Hand_Tools_Equipment&hash=item5d2db6604b but I also got some of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TYRE-VALVE-CORE-REMOVER-REMOVAL-TOOL-WHEEL-INNERTUBE-FOUR-FREE-CORES-/201066297456?pt=UK_Cars_Parts_Vehicles_Wheels_tyre_Trims_Trims_ET&hash=item2ed07c3870

My problem was actually the High Pressure valve instead which can easily be changed (when de-gassed) as valve unscrews and is NOT part of the pipework contrary to what the Garages will try to fleece you for !!  HP valve is only a few quid.  The part number and guide for that is on the OOF guide at http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/index.php?topic=124057.0  :y

Hope that helps. :y
Dr Andy  :D

Tried them before using the normal car tyre type as they didn't fit.

HP Is fine completey bone dry no issues, Did change that a few months ago anyway  :y

Have you tried these ones http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/R134A-AIRCON-GM-SCHRADER-VALVE-CORE-PACK-5-2673-/400198885451?pt=UK_Hand_Tools_Equipment&hash=item5d2db6604b or got it sorted ?
