Line Out from Delco CDR2005
« on: 19 January 2017, 09:09:53 »

Hello

I would like to connect a better amplifier (and speakers as well) to Delco CDR2005. As there is output for speakers only I would like to ask whether someone has built Line Out connector after pre-amp of this unit. Any suggestions are welcome.

Does the CDR2005 use the same volume control chip as the CCR2006? How to fit line level outputs to a CCR2006

Thanks for info

Yes, that is one possibility but I would like to do it in "a bit more elegant way" and totally forget the main amp of this unit, wiring diagram would help if someone has it available. Tried to find it but did not succeed yet.  ...or if someone could advice which are the right wires to get the line out!

Does your car have Bose?

There's some disparity between UK and Euro specs/options, so asking for to be clear what you need :y

Fairly sure the CCR2006 will have the TDA7313N Chip as it uses the Speed Volume sensing, its probably in a different place on the PCB compared to the 2006, so just use KW Mod.

What is Bose? Some kind of booster??

No, I do not think I have. Actually I would like to bypass the main amplifier of this unit and replace it by a better one.

So you mean pins 22-25 for line out?

CDR2005 won't support Bose.
