HBV - Heater Bypass Valve - Diverts your hot water to and from the heater ;)
ICV - Idle Control Valve - Does exactly that!
EGR - Exhaust Gas Recirc - Again does exactly what it says on the tin.
SAI - Secondary Air Injection - Noisy unit prone to failing under the passenger front wing :P
EML - Engine Management Light - Orange flashy light telling you you've broken down!
ECU - Electronic Control Unit - Car's brain.
DBW - Drive by Wire (no throttle cable) - Electrickery throttle!
CPP - Coil Per Plug - Vx's way of making you spend 6 times as much when your cam covers leak :y
MID - Multi Info Display -  \
CID - Colour Info Display   \
TID - Triple Info Display     / Date time radio brakelight screen
GID - Graphic Info Display/

That ok for you? ;)
