hi there!
« on: 15 July 2010, 06:53:29 »

hello. my name is al.
I drive one of two 54 registered omega v6 special estates. It is an ex thames valley accident investigation car, the other was one of their traffic cars. I've had the car for 15 months now and apart from the recent front suspension woes, the car has been quite well behaved, with the usual heater valve issues and a dodgy fuel pump being the only negatives. The car came with the traditional police interior issues which were sorted with the help of a 'w' reg 2.0 CD estate. That car had shale leather and no sunroof. It might almost have been built to retrim an ex-plod mobile. I'm using the car as a taxi and it is often commented on for being the last proper car that Vauxhall made. All that is left to do it is sort the front suspension out and fit heated rear seats. The wiring is all there for that, so I just need to find the switches and elements. The car still pulls like a train even with 156k and managed 135k on its first clutch. not sure if that is good or bad, but I had a pug 106 once that had to have a new one at 60k, so i guess that it is ok for what it is/was. :)
