I had a new C1 as a courtesy car.. and unsurprisingly driving down the M5 with a fair load in it took it about ten years to reach anywhere near motorway speeds.
Sounds like our McCulloch MAC335 its always been a pain to start and doesn't idle at all and when you're done trying to start it you want to put the thing away after 10 minutes because you've no energy left to lift the thing.
The nearside of my car needs welding in a couple of places one of which is the left inner arch near the seatbelt mount up to roughly where the spring is and is about an inch in width. it also needs doing on the front nearside chassis leg near the front subframe mount. hours of fun for someone there to weld up.
I did what I should have done in the beginning and swapped the crank sensor for the second hand one that came with the 3.2 and it started without a fuss. unlike the owner..
