It was on 134000 ish at it's last MOT in 2011 with the usual chassis leg rot around the steering box mount area and probably the other side and the sills and the rear legs too...

My car could do with a good blasting to rid it of the rust and muck before large sections disappear. but I doubt it will get the attention it needs unfortunately.

It's the right hand one of the two small relays in mine that switches the pump on and off. and someone had replaced the rear shocks with standard ones on mine but had not bothered to stop the pump operating so a quick pull of the relay sorted it.

Same with my recently acquired 2.5 elite estate. I thought i'd check to see if the powersounder was still there and to my surprise it was.. so out it came and I too cut it open to find the acid had destroyed the circuit and into the bin it went.

As has been said it's all easy enough once you get the parts out of the door. it's just getting them out is a fiddly pain in the arse of a job as theres not much room to get your hands in..

My 3.2 estate has done this on occasion but usually clears after a good rev up. probably no use to you at all but i'd be interested to find out what exactly goes wrong..but I've sold the car now and am waiting for the buyer to eventually collect it.

Sounds like me waiting in for Nigel from Nottingham on sunday after he said he was interested in my 3.2 estate and was coming to fetch it after saying numerous times he wanted it.. it goes without saying it's still here. and the part that really gets me is all he had to say was it was too far to come and it wasn't worth his time but no not even a call to say he couldn't make it.

I ordered a locking kit from a company in Wiltshire I think ? but what arrived was much heavier than it should have been because it was for a BMW engine of some description. so back it went and I still haven't got one.

Omega General Help / Help needed welding.

Hello all. Could someone help by welding a couple of areas on my recently acquired omega 2.5 estate?. it needs the inner arch to floorpan area near the seatbelt mount up to near the spring seat and a small area on the sill. now heres the part that will no doubt put everyone off.. at the moment payment would mostly be in the shape of VN51 EAK my 3.2 elite estate which is minus the nearside windows (smashed) but otherwise complete it does have an MOT to pretty much the end of august and runs very well indeed.
Here's hoping someone can help.
