If I cut another key blade as the one I'm using now, shouldn't I replace transponder chip and ring only? Also engine ECU and alarm ECU, but the locks could stay the same in theory wouldn't they?

You haven't specified your problem.

If the locks 'bounce' then you need to overhaul/replace the motors.

If you only change the remote, you can keep the chip and blade from your existing key. New remote gets programmed to the car and that's it.
