Extinction rebellion
« on: 17 October 2019, 15:39:26 »

I see a couple of idiots tried to disrupt the tube by climbing on top of the train. They were dragged off and their heads accidentally caught a couple of boots on the way down.  :)

My favourite comment was:

"Lucky he didn't get pushed backwards off the top and onto the other lines 3rd rail. You'd see his carbon footprint then."

Not sure what outcome they expected, really, inconveniencing a bunch of people already angry because they are a) having to go to work and b) having to use the tube! The justification I saw some ER representative on the news was "When society crumbles it won't be pretty, so they should get used to it now!" ::)

If society truly crumbles, love, I suspect you'll probably find yourself on the receiving end of some copper jacketed lead, rather than just being heaved off the roof of a train!

When the end of the world happens, will we be allowed to keep vegans as food once all the cows have become extinct?

These stupid people expect the general public to support them to bring about change so the UK, and all civilised countries, and go back to the dark ages by 2025; no mechanical transport, no electricity, at least not that generated by non-renewable means, no factories, no offices, no food in shops, NO JOBS, etc, etc.

Do they really think we are going to support that? Yes, cutting emissions where we can, when we can, is good, but to do it by their ridiculous deadline!!

Today they really showed how barmy they are; stopping people using public transport that does not emit emissions on site, and the power for which is increasingly produced by renewables. So they encouraged, by implication, the use of personal motorised transport!!

Utter madness!!  They are really over-cooking their message that the World is going to end any time soon.

Why don't they go and protest in China?  But no, that would be too dangerous for these snowflakes! >:(

So they are trying to stop a tube train. An electric train. That people use instead of cars and taxis.

Clearly that's how eating lentils and shagging trees affects the brain.

Shame they didn't push him off the other side of the train onto the 3rd rail of the other tracks.  :-X

Then we'd have seen what his carbon footprint was!  :o  :D  ;D

I saw that Hamilton is vegan and says we all ought to be.

He is of course right. Gasp from the readers. We are just raping and pillaging the earth for short term gain. When you see how many trees are cleared to grow masses of  maize to then create a few pounds of meat.  Hey ho.

Just had a delicious pork curry!

PS dont condone the disruption protests.
