Got a LPG burn whilst filling up.

That's gonna smart in the morning :(

Reliability of LPG pumps were shocking, couple I used the filler would get super cold. Had to be quick in releasing.
Probably more likely your filler TBH.

My burn was from the gas escape upon removal.

I got burnt by an LPG pump a few years ago. It stung quite a lot for several days.
But as you know TB, a bit of pain never hurt anyone.  ;)
I couldn't agree more. Whats a bit of pain, it never harmed anyone.

I was right though, it has smarted all day.

Filling was fine at other pumps, just one pump was temperamental

If the pump nozzle was freezing, its most likely due to a restriction around that area.  I'd expect that if it was the pump, and same for everyone, it would get looked at TBH.

So may be a combo of that pump nozzle being borderline and your filler being borederline, and the result was that. If that makes sense.

The sort of burn you get from touching a frozen nozzle is nowhere near as bad as getting caught by a gas escape when removing.  Hence I've been all gay, and been using aloe vera on my poor index finger.

Tried and failed to drive it earlier.  I feel like a Viagra has got stuck in my neck.  I couldn't even look right at the first roundabout, so I swung round it and straight back home.

Minor detail, just pull straight out, everyone around here does so it must be ok.  ::)

A couple of weeks ago, I got, ironically the same finger stuck on the hotend of a 3D printer at ABS temps (240C).  As you can imagine, that made me yelp.

But I reckon a gas burn is every bit as bad.

Broke the V70.  :(

The button on the gear knob broke and fell out, and I can only use D and N.  ::)

It happened just as I was about to set off for Dorset from South Wales and I was in a cul de sac facing the wrong way!  ::)  I managed to turn around by going up on the pavements, which was lucky as the V70 has a crap turning circle.  Once I was pointed in the right direction, I didn't stop until I got home!  ;D

As a temporary fix, if you pop the trim pieces off around the selector you can manually move the linkage (same way as pressing the button) I think.

Its unlikely to be wasted effort as the trim comes off to replace the shifter anyway.  :y
