Looks like the changer place to me, have a look on the other side and see if you can find an Amp (possibly labeled Phillips) or the connections to one, a lot of late PFL CDX (and early Elites) had a 804 HU and separate Amp in place, on the Saloons the Amp was fitted near the NS rear Wheel Arch.

There's nothing on the other side  :-[  I suspect someone had an aftermarket head unit in this car as all of the wiring for the original omega connector had been cut.  Someone has clearly tried to put the original connector back on, but made a hash of it, so I'll be tidying things up a bit before a head unit goes back in.  I guess the CD player that was in it when I got it may well have been the original unit.

The radio and changer I have or sale is the ccrt700 from a 1999 mv6. Is this not the one you need then mate?  No problem if it's not. :y

Unfortunately, the radio display on the dash is different on that head unit, and an earlier post on here suggests it isn't compatible with my car without modification.

Here you go

listed as vectra but should be the same.
John
Started to have alook at the wiring today, and immediately there's a problem.

I presume that some of the wires numbered 17 to 26 are there to control the dash display. The problem is that I'm not exatly sure which ones. And as there are 4 that are brown/white, how am I supposed to work out which one is which?  The ones on mine have all been cut, so whilst I know which one is which at the connector end, I don't knew which is which at the display end!

Can anyone help work this puzzle out?

You've got PM Craig. If you like, wait until billing, we'll ream my HU out and you can take whatever photos you like. It's all greek to me, but if you literally copy exactly how my original un-molested wiring is, can't go far wrong.  :y

To be honest even if you look at an uncut loom you're going to be non the wiser as all the relevant cables all merge into one loom.

You just need to concentrate on the brown/white wires as per top row of iso connector

personally I'd just connect the br/white cables until you find the correct combination.
John.
